Chennai-Justfication to be in!!!

Chennai-a place most of the people fear to come as part of job or even a weekend trip. But i am in chennai now and thinking of a good reason to explain my mind that i have made a good decision to shift to chennai. 1)Less competition from peer!!! 2)Chennai is a less expensive city, so i may save a few bucks per month!!! 3)It will be a good place to start exploring south India as part of my weekend trips. Out of this the third one seems more logical.As per my personal experience chennai is not less costly compared to any other city like Bangalore or Hyderabad, definitely not if you want to maintain the same lifestyle as before. Competition in the work space is equally tough, if you are in a Tire 1 company like me. Good things in chennai 1)Roads are good 2)ECR road is excellent for a drive (But be careful, now police Dept. has started taking pictures of couples on ECR and send them to your home!!!!) 3)Tic Tak- a video rental shop in Adyar has a good collection of VCDs and DVDs 4)Satyam Theater is good only on Weekdays.(you will not like weekend crowds)
